Llega pedaleando al final de La Carretera Austral sobre una eBIKE
We want to share with you an unforgettable day combining our eBikes and vehicles and take you to discover one of Patagonia's best-kept secrets: Lake Christie and Paso Mayer, following in the footsteps of the former colonists who made their way to these ends of the world.
We started from Villa O'Higgins
heading north, climbing more than 1,000 meters up the Ruta de los Colonos. Along the way you will get to know the Padre Ronchi's first church, La Clara Lagoon, the Old Azul Suspension Bridge
and panoramic views of the Blue Glacier and the Mayer Valley.
The tour culminates in the Lake Christie Viewpoint, where the view and the story leave you speechless.
Then, if the lake gives us permission, we can navigate it and visit Don “Mouse” Prádenas, one of the last inhabitants of the end of the lake: an endearing man, who lives in total harmony with nature, regardless of modern time.
On the way back, the second part begins: a stretch in eBike, descending and discovering rivers, waterfalls and valleys, feeling the energy of Patagonia with every ride.
Without a hurry, as we live here, we closed the day at Villa O'Higgins with a well-deserved third half.
A complete adventure, with a Patagonian soul and a free spirit that you won't be able to forget.
